Spring has arrived! The asparagus are growing with vigor, producing a new crop each day. I have written before about my love of yard work, yet I am quite certain the weeds are growing faster this year than last. I spend hours each day in the dirt fighting what feels like a losing battle. Maybe when I have my own house I won't have such a big yard after all... in any case the roses have started blooming as well, offering fresh cut bouquets for the house. They make me happy.

They are lovely. Makes me wonder how my roses are doing...hum, I beleive they are under quite a few inches of snow. Enjoy your spring, summer is around the bend!
