We went to see Santa this afternoon. Claire was so excited! I thought we'd get a cute little picture of the three of them together. She wanted nothing to do with the Jolly ol' man and it actually took her a while to get over the trauma of it all. Josh had a good time though, this year he's hoping for a bow and arrow. He has been asking me very specific questions about how all this Santa and elf stuff works. Today on the way he asked, "Mom why do they say magic isn't real, but then they say Santa is magic?" I'm really not into lying to my child. Also, I don't want to be an uptight magic squasher...
