We spent most of today doing yard work. Strange how something you dislike as a child can become one of your favorite activities as an adult. Weeding day was a dreaded activity in my young mind. I would find any and every excuse to get out of it or take many breaks throughout the process. Somewhere along the way, though I found that I actually enjoyed it. I am thrilled to have a big ol' yard and garden to practice on! There is something about working the dirt, breathing in the fresh air and seeing the fruits of your labors that is just so satisfying! I don't even mind the weeding.
