We spent one day at the National Zoo. My highly competitive sister and husband decided it would be a good time for a photo contest. They spent the entire time trying to capture the photo that would be voted #1. Josh enjoyed himself. He seemed to like animals that were in tanks the most, probably because he could see them better. He added "turtle" to his vocabulary that day, and says it clear as a bell. He must like the sound of it because he walks around the house singing, "turtle, turtle, turtle," now.
I don't have all the contest photos but the winner was the purple flower in this collage.
