For those of you who are wondering, we didn't fall off the face of the earth or have a major tragedy, we have just been super busy; traveling and having company.
My parents came for a visit that last week of September. We had a wonderful, and very busy week and a half. We spent some time here in Nevada, and a few days in Utah visiting my Grandma and aunt and assessing the water damage done to my parents house in Cedar. We then spent 4 days in Wyoming with my little sister Kaysea. We stopped in Salt Lake on the way back down to see my Grandparents and a few aunts and uncles. My Grandpa has been sick lately and we wanted to take the opportunity to spend some time with him while we could. He has rallied and is as spry and with it as ever! I hope I have half his energy and enthusiasm when I am his age! He's in his 80's, is still working delivering cars for Enterprise, and always has a project or two going. He spent his time with us visiting and showing off his new riding lawn mower which he handles like a pro.
It is always so nice to have family around. They are oh so good with Josh, he loves having the extra attention and love. My parents aren't ones to sit around. We were only at my house for two days, but in that time they helped me with a number of projects that had been waiting. My mom used to tell us to always leave a place better than we found it. Well they definitely did, my holiday decorations are up, broken furniture is repaired, and frames are hung. I think they should move back to our side of the country!
