Geese

A few days after my parents flew back home to DC, we hopped on a plane to Michigan to visit Justin's parents. They are serving a mission in the Detroit area, working with church employment services. We haven't seen them for 9 months, Josh wasn't even walking when they left, so it was very nice to catch up after such a long time. Justin's sister and her family came out to visit during our trip as well. We had a great time! More pictures and post to come.


There is a pond right outside their door that attracts a number of geese each day. Josh had a ball feeding them cereal bread and any other bit of food he could round up. One of the geese bit his finger during the process. He just looked at it indignantly, shook his head in reprimand and continued with the feeding. Though he was a little more hesitant after that incident.
