Thanksgiving Weekend

We spent Thanksgiving in my hometown of Cedar City. My cousins came down from northern Utah and we drove up from Vegas to spend the holiday with my Grandma Pink. There were lots of little ones for Josh to play with and the magic of snow to enjoy. We spent our time visiting, eating and sledding. My favorite quotes from the weekend came from Josh
  • "but Mom if we cook that turkey he will feel so sad."
  • "don't worry Mom I'm not starvin' anymore I just ate a bunch of snow!"
The morning we were planning to head home we woke up to blanket of snow and weather warnings. I wasn't too worried because we were driving away from the storm. About 15 minutes outside of town we hit some black ice and crashed into a SUV that had slowed down due to a car roll over. Thankfully no one was hurt. It looks like our car may be totaled, we are still waiting on the insurance company to make an assessment. Josh was happy to witness the excitement of police cars and got to ride back to Pink's house in a tow truck! You can see a little bit of the car in the background of the first picture:
